Steps

1
See how SynchPay Works
2
This is the SynchPay web portal. Here you can see the payment requests your organization has made as well as their statuses. Let's make our first payment request.
3
Click on "Add" to create a new payment request
4
Video step
5
Select your bank account
6
Now to select a due date
7
Click your due date of choice. We're working on features to help you follow up with people as they approach their due date.
8
Next, enter the recipient's phone number.
9
Video step
10
We encourage you to enter their email as well.
11
Video step
12
You can drag & drop to attach an PDF invoice to the payment request.
13
To wrap things up, click on "Submit" to send the payment request. The recipient will receive a text message and a push notification.
14
The user receives a payment request via text message.
15
Tapping the link in the text brings them directly to the app.
16
Now, lets check out the user's experience from their phone
17
Welcome to SynchPay's simple one-time onboarding process.
18
Video step
19
The onboarding includes a lot of text passcodes, but it's important for security's sake.
20
Video step
21
We use Plaid, which protects the data of over 100 million customers, to securely link the user's account.
22
Video step
23
If a user has ever used Plaid before (via Venmo, Chime, Robinhood, Affirm, or others) they can automatically link their existing Plaid information with their phone number.
24
Video step
25
Select a previously saved bank login
26
Video step
27
Each bank has its own security process; this one happens to be a text.
28
Video step
29
To ensure security, Plaid does a second verification text message outside of the bank's authentication. The duplication is due to information protection measures (keeping each step siloed).
30
Video step
31
Video step
32
This is the final step of our one-time secure onboarding process.
33
Video step
34
Now, the user just has to tap to pay and complete the transaction.
35
Video step
36
If the business attached an invoice to the payment request, the user can tap to see it.
37
Video step
38
Finally, they just tap to complete the payment request.
39
Video step
40
That's it! About a minute and a half to complete the payment request, and three taps thereafter.
