How To Properly Set Up Your Pre-Orders

Manage demand and keep orders running smoothly by setting up pre-orders on storekit. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

Steps

First, enter your Takeaway store settings here.

Click on "Opening Hours".

Choose your opening hours for each day.

Then, click on "Save".

Go back to your store settings and click on “Pre-Orders”.

Tick “Enable to allow customers to order in advance” to enable pre-orders.

Enable this option to allow customers to order outside of venue opening hours.

Click on "Time slot Length" to split up the day into equal slots customers can choose from when they order.

If you want to limit how many orders you can accept for every time slot, set the number here.

If you want to allow customers to order without choosing a time slot, toggle on "ASAP order".

Limits the number of items you allow per time slot here.

Limit the total amount of orders allowed for the time slot by the sum of order totals here.

Here, you can set how far in advance customers can place orders in days.

Lastly, the "Order cut-off" defines how many days you need to prepare the order.

Once done, you can now set which days and times customers can order pickups for here.

To set up your delivery details, click on the “Delivery” tab beside “Pickup”

Then scroll down and set the delivery times here.

Once done, click on "Save".
