Activity Processing services are required to automate task processing in Grooper.

Activity Processing services automate tasks in a Batch Process. Batch Process Steps in Grooper are made to execute different kinds of Activities. These Activities do things like format images, classify documents and extract data from documents. Once you install Activity Processing services, it is these services that will complete tasks like you see on the screen here. Tasks will be processed until the Batch is complete, an error is encountered (if the Batch Process is set up to stop on errors) or a Review step requiring human intervention is encountered.

Open GCC (as an admin)

Use the services install command to install "ActivityProcessing"

ProTips:
- "ActivityProcessing" can be shortened to "act"
- Use "?" to mask your password.

GCC will inform you the install is successful and list all installed services.

Start the service.
- services start will start ALL services.
- Use services start # to start a specific service.

First, go to the Design page...

...then select the Grooper Activity Processing service.

Stop and Start the service with these buttons.

Edit the service here.
Stop and re-start the service for changes to take effect.
