Description
Import Watchers are required to import files (PDFs, TIFFs etc) into Grooper from external storage platforms (file systems, email inboxes, CMS systems, etc).
Steps

Files are imported into Grooper by "Import Jobs".
- An Import Watcher service is required to execute Import Jobs.

For the Import Job to start, an "Import Watcher" service must be installed and running.

Open GCC (as an admin)

Use the services install command to install "ImportWatcher"

ProTips:
- "ImportWatcher" can be shortened to "imp"
- Use "?" to mask your password.

GCC will inform you the install is successful and list all installed services.

Start the service.
- services start will start ALL services.
- Use services start # to start a specific service.

First, go to the Design page...

Go to the "Services" tab...

Verify if the service is running with the Status column.

Edit the service here.
Stop and re-start the service for changes to take effect.
