We'll create this new rule group by naming it "Christmas Earnings" and defining key parameters, including a maximum point cap of 5,000 points per member during the campaign period.

Let's start by creating extra points for dining transactions

by defining a rule where if the MCC (Merchant Category Code) equals 5 thousand eight hundred and twelve

Now that we've established our rule structure, let's proceed with uploading a transaction file to demonstrate how these rules calculate and award points based on actual member spending data.
