Steps

1
Welcome to Loyalife-Member Segments!
2
Click on "Create Segment".
3
Click on "Create Segment".
4
Let me demonstrate how segmentation works by creating a custom segment for "High Spenders in New York," where we'll target members with specific spending patterns in a particular location.
5
We can assign a tag to this segment, which serves an important purpose - when there's a requirement to retrieve member details through our API, we can include information about which segments a particular member belongs to, enhancing data accessibility.
6
Select the operator
7
select the date condition
8
Let's define our segment conditions by first specifying that we consider members who have accrued at least 10,000 points in the last 90 days as high spenders, establishing our value-based qualification criteria.
9
Following that, click on "+ Add Filter".

11
To make this segment location-specific to New York, we'll add another condition where the address field contains "New York," narrowing our high-value audience to a specific geographic area.
12
Next, click on "+ Add Filter".
13
Click on "Custom Attributes".
14
Click on "Digital Banking User".
15
For this example, let's add a condition that "Digital Banking User" must be "true," creating a multi-dimensional segment targeting digitally-engaged high spenders in New York.
16
Click on "Save".
17
After saving our segment, it's created in the system but will only be populated with qualifying members during the next scheduled processing run. For most implementations, we execute segment processing once daily, but for on-premises clients, this can be configured to run as frequently as every minute depending on business requirements.
