Learn how to obtain Layout Data when running Recognize on your documents.
Steps

You will need an IP Profile that has some sort of feature detection included in the IP Steps.

The OCR Cleanup IP Step has Feature Detection built in, so this IP Profile will collect the most common Layout data.

When we reference an OCR Profile with Azure OCR, Layout data will be collected automatically. No additional changes need to be made.

For any other OCR Engine, we must set an IP Profile on the OCR Profile.

Click the "☰" to the right of the IP Profile property.

Navigate to and select the IP Profile you wish to reference.

Then just reference the OCR Profile in your Recognize Step.

If you are not using an OCR Profile in your Recognize step because you are collecting native text only, you will have to set an IP Profile on the Recognize Step directly.

Click the "☰" to the right of the Alternate IP property.

Select an IP Profile that has the desired feature detection steps.

Be sure to save any changes you make to your Batch Process Step.
