Steps

1
Video step
2
Welcome to Orderly Meetings
3
Start by clicking on "Create an account."
4
Enter your email address, then "Continue."
5
Again, click on "Continue" to proceed.
6
Enter your information in the text fields. Don't forget to change your "Display As" to your name.
7
Now, click on "Send code" to receive a verification code.
8
Click here to enter the code you received.
9
Click on "Verify" to confirm your code.
10
Next, click on "Save Profile" to save your details.
11
Yay! You're in. Now, click on "Create a new organization." Your organization is your church, association, or business entity.
12
Complete your organization's information. If you are tax exempt, please check the box. We'll ask you for your certificate.
13
Then, click on "Create Organization" to finalize and move on to the assembly set up page.
14
Enter the name of your first Assembly. This is the first decision making body you wish to create. Typically, a board, committee, or commission.
15
Every assembly needs a leader. Since you are the first user, that means you!
16
Click the drop down menu to choose your first Assembly Leader. Typically, the president, moderator, secretary, or clerk. Choose yourself! You can add more users and leaders later. Leaders have enhanced rights within the assembly.
17
You can define your roles with whatever titles you use. We'll remember what you enter, so you can choose it again later. We suggest roles like pastor, elder, member, guest, etc.
18
Click on "Administrators" to manage user roles. You must be added to an assembly and have an assembly role to see the contents of the assembly. Every assembly needs at least one assembly admin. Choose yourself! Orderly Meetings currently includes "Assembly Admin" users, who can configure and manage the assembly, and "Standard Users" who have read-only permissions.
19
Orderly Meetings staff do not have access to the contents of your assembly, unless an Assembly Administrator grants it for support purposes.
20
Following that, click on "Create Assembly" to proceed. Congratulations! You've added your first Assembly!
21
Hooray! Your Assembly is ready. Click on "Meetings" to view the meeting list and start your first meeting!
22
Start your first Meeting
23
Let's get started with our first Meeting. Click create meeting to get started!
24
Add your basic meeting information. Meeting name, date, time, and location are required.
25
Later, if you subscribe to Review and Control functions, you can choose the checklists that apply to this meeting.
26
Click on "Create meeting" to save and start your meeting agenda! Or, choose upload prior meeting to upload a PDF and skip the agenda and minutes builders.
27
You've got a blank slate. Click on "Add an agenda section" to get started.
28
Enter your section name
29
Click "Notes" to add a text box.
30
Video step
31
Click on "Add Section" to continue building.
32
Use the section handles to rearrange the sections.
33
Click on "Browse..." to select files for upload.
34
Click on "Outputs" to choose which sections will print together.
35
Click on "Agenda Packet" to generate a PDF of your agenda, including attachments!
36
Click on "A" to print your output grouping.
37
Next up, click on "Compile Packet" for finalization. Your PDF will prepare for download.
38
Convert your agenda to meeting mode
39
Once you are ready to start your meeting, click on "Meeting" to convert your agenda to "meeting mode." Notice the shading on the left will change from blue to green, letting you know you are in meeting mode.
40
We'll warn you that any changes made to the agenda after this point won't be reflected in the minutes.
41
Meeting mode works just like the agenda. You can add and remove the notes, attachments, and output tags that you want to be included in your minutes.
42
Grab the section handles to move sections up and down.
43
Pro-tip! Use output tags to print notes that shouldn't be in the "minutes" in a separate packet. Use the "E" output tag for Executive Session notes. Don't include them in your "main meeting" packet.
